This privacy notice covers the Horselys information website. Data processing within the Horselys app is described separately.

2. Hosting and technical logs

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Access may involve processing technical connection and log data, including your IP address, access date and time, requested resource, referring page, and browser and device information. This supports content delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is operating a secure and reliable website.

Netlify may process data outside the European Union. Its privacy statement and Data Processing Agreement describe international transfer safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Technical logs are processed only for as long as needed for service delivery, security or legal obligations.

3. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and information you provide to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our interest in responding to enquiries. We delete this information once your enquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Appearance and local storage

Your choice of light or dark appearance is stored locally in your browser under “horselys-theme”. This value contains no personal identifier and our website code does not transmit it to us. It remembers your chosen appearance on later visits. You can change it using the appearance buttons or remove it by clearing this website’s browser data. The selected page address determines the language.

5. External links and videos

External services are opened through ordinary links. The external website is contacted only when you select its link; its provider’s privacy notice then applies. App store downloads are not yet linked and no external video player is embedded. If we add a video or another service, we will update this notice to reflect that integration and obtain any necessary consent before loading it.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website code includes no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies for advertising or audience measurement. Website images and font rendering do not use external font services.

7. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact us using the details above to exercise your rights. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
